This Privacy Policy applies only to this site. Some of the links on our site connect to other web sites. Information this Site Gathers and Tracks
We gather two types of information from users:
- Information that users provide through optional, voluntary submissions, i.e., by email or online survey.
- This site tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of our pages. Information we gather through aggregated tracking is compiled from web site statistical logs of page views, files and directories accessed, and unique visitors to various sections of the site. Sometimes we track and catalog the search terms that users enter in our Search function, but this tracking is never associated with individual users. We do not track what individual users read but rather the overall performance of each page. This information allows us to assess what information users are interested in and can help us provide information to meet your interests and needs.
Optional, Voluntary Submission of Personal Information
Surveys
When this site conducts voluntary user surveys to assess use and effectiveness of our information, aggregated demographic information from these surveys may be gathered but specific individuals are not identified and their information can never shared with any third party, nor do we sell this information.
Children
Consistent with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent.
Security
This site is hosted on the Continuum Health Partners server which operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password encryption systems. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals (Continuum Health Partners personnel or designees of the health care system) have access to the information provided by our visitors.
